Alexander Technique
The Alexander Technique identifies unconscious patterns of excessive muscular tension which can:
Cause or exacerbate pain;
Result in a collapsed or rigid posture;
Exert a downward pressure on the spine, intervertebral discs, and skeletal system in general;
Interfere with our postural support musculature, skeletal alignment and movement; and
Have a negative effect on our mood and stress levels.
The Technique can provide relief from pain including:
Sciatica and back pain
Knee, hip, neck, shoulder pain
Parkinson’s disease
